SPECIALIZED WILDFIRE ASSISTANCE TEAM

Specialized Wildfire Assistance Team (“SWAT”) is an international coalition (Canada, South Africa, and the United States of America) of wildfire specialists who provide Wildland Fire Crews (Engine, Hand & Helitack), training, mentoring, advisors, incident management modules, and wildfire mitigation specialists to governmental agencies and the private sector who are struggling to meet the increasing challenges wildfires pose.

SWAT has developed a scalable and replicable service model that can be implemented globally with relatively low startup costs.

Due to the geographical locations of the partners and the current businesses we have already established, SWAT finds itself in a unique position to set a global standard for Integrated Wildfire Management (“IWFM”).

LEAD BY A TEAM OF EXPERTS

The leadership team of SWAT has a combined working experience of well over 130 years of integrated wildfire management.

They have been involved in some of the biggest wildfires on the planet and even had time on other disaster and sporting events.

WHO WE ARE

SWAT is a team of specialists capable of reducing the risk that wildfire’s pose on the economy, environment, and society by focusing on the IWFM model. IWFM is the key to adapting to current and future changes in global wildfire risk. SWAT will establish business locations in “wildfire hotspots” throughout the globe.

In each business location, there will be three distinct branches of operations where SWAT will hire, train, and employ local applicants to compliment current staff. If wildfires are not affecting a particular business location, SWAT can utilize these resources in active fire areas and reallocate them accordingly.
